  I've been attending here about a year; Dr. Peacock is an excellent preacher. It's an easy thing for you to check him out on line . . . as for whether you should come here or no – it is a “bible believing baptist” church. What that simply means is they (we) believe the bible (specifically the old King James) to be the very word of God. Old fashioned? Yes. Nothing wrong with that! Sunday mornings tend to be a bit crowded. Sunday nights it’s easier to get a seat. Wednesday nights however is my favorite time – at 6pm is a bible question & answer forum in which folks from the auditorium ask questions off the cuff & if he is able he answers from THE Book. A great ability to recall which really impresses me, I learn more here than at other times. It is a very friendly group of believers; (except for the ol’ curmudgeon writing this review) the congregation consists of young, old, brown & pinkish. There are people who drive around the block & others who drive from Lake City, Orlando, etc. – makes my 40min drive seem minuscule!
  As to the many musicians here; talk about good! Not the professional hug the mic type but just flat out good, filled to the brim holy ghost good. Horns, violins, piano, organ & on occasion guitars, banj’ers & fiddles. Good stuff.
  Mensch; come, you'll get something to chew the cud on!!!

  Excellent Bible Teaching, Preaching & Christ Honoring Church! Dr. David Peacock, the church's Pastor, seems to actually believe that the Bible is the Word of God and teaches from the ONLY literal English translation from the original Hebrew & Greek (the authorized King James Version). We just moved to the area from up north (PA) and look forward to getting more involved with this authentic group of believers.
  
  Salvation is simple--Jesus said "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." John 6:47 KJV....Are you saved?
