  • My family and I have been attending Destiny for about 4 years now. The moment we walked into Destiny there was something evident and different about these people. They were real. The worship was genuine and anointed. Pastor Chris preached the truth of the scripture. The kind of truth that grabs you and increases a desire to pursue God in a way like never before. The people of Destiny believe in community, true community. They do life together, they serve together and they grow together.

Now fast forward 4 years later and honestly, I thought maybe it would change after the new wore off, but the opposite happened. The passion and pursuit of Jesus and being his hands and feet has just increased. Destiny has been a huge part of my spiritual growth and my families. The word of God is active in this place and I am honored to call these my people "my family".
If you come hang out with us you will hear "Christ, community and cause". This isn't just a cute logo, it's what we truly believe.

Hello all. I was contacted by Destiny Church (Pastor CHRIS and Jason) today, regarding my statements in my previous review. I must say, their spirits did not reflect that of our Savior. Jason reminded me of the financial assistance that was given me, in which I did not ask for to begin with. It was the Lord who saw fit to bless me through this organization. Let us remember that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the justified in Christ Jesus. Nevertheless, Jason being a novice at best, as it pertains to the Word and Will of God, contacted me with a very weak form of intimidation, suggesting that I was obligated to Destiny Church, opposed to God. And Pastor Chris spirit, was equally unreflective of our Lord and Savior, as he was furious that I refused to remove the previous Holyghost lead message that I posted on this review.
Chris, I'm the wrong "brother", for you to attempt classic manipulation tactics, against.
It isn't my intention to suggest that Chris was or is less than a man of God. For he indeed has demonstraited acts of kindness. For an example, He gave his best friend Jason a gift of 10,000 for his new business on Main St.
At anyrate, If we profess that we are a messenger of Christ, then we must speak the truth of God's Word, without compromise and without hidden agendas. Mind you, this church will certainly greet you with a hug and a kiss. But again, Judas Iscariot also greeted Jesus with a "Hug and a Kiss". We As leaders and mouth pieces of God must speak his words only, having no hidden agendas or personal motives. We must preach Jesus Christ Crucified! We must preach Repentance and Holiness. We must preach against sin. We must simply preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not the doctrines of men, for religion is an awful thing!
Pastor Chris, the men that I mentioned are men in whom you stated were admirable and influential, having impacted you the most.
Ron Parley, Steve furtick, kenneth Haggin, Joyce Meyers, Mark Batterson, teaches the same false prosperity message as Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Joel Osteen, T D Jake's Benny Hinn and a ton of others. Each of the people mentioned are great prophets of satan! And the tithe?...It's totally unscriptural. These men and women represents an overwhelming majority of world known and self proclaimed pastors from God, who has been manipulating people since the early 1900's, a concept reestablished by the Catholic church, for profit, power and control.
Scripture totally oppose and conflit with this concept on every turn. Only Jesus know my love for you and all lost souls. Its very frightening that you are unaware of this fact. If you refuse to listen, you will reap ruins in every area of life. Destiny Church will cease to exist. It is entirely your call. You must repent, if you truly desire to glorify our God in heaven. A man who truly desiring Christ and has placed his trust in Him alone in all things, would not be concerned regarding what another man may post about him, in public. Nor would he have concern for his name or repretation. Jesus was not concern about these things. And they were done unto him on a great scale, never to be experience or compared to, by mere man. So why would you care about ratings and reviews from men. Why? I'll tell you why, the focus is on yourself and not Jesus. Do you not realize that no one can disrupt what the Lord has given us or called us to do? Only we can cause a chasm between ourselves and God, through disobedience and the hardening of our heart. I am truly sorry for the hurt that you have experienced as a result of the words spoken here in. But I cannot, nor will I apologize for the words spoken here in, for they are from the Lord. For all who are reading this passage, we must truly desire the Lord and seek after Him with our entire heart and being. And when we do, the Lord has promise to order our steps. So, if Jesus is ordering our steps, it's never a matter of where should I go or where should I fellowship. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

  • Destiny Church has been an answer to so many prayers. We've been coming since October 2016 and They have made me and my family feel so loved and welcomed and included. I appreciate all the TRUTH in love that is preached Sunday after Sunday!!! And their worship team has brought so much healing through their singing and worship!!! I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. The church and its leaders don't just talk the talk but they walk the walk too. The pastors don't just encourage its members to go out and serve their community but they actually lead by example and serve whole heartedly. Love This Church and you will too!! Come join us!

  • I am visiting the area and found this church online. I visited today and was welcomed very warmly exactly in the fashion that Jesus would expect.
The worship experience from the music to message was very relevant and spoke to me in a strong and poignant way to strengthen my ministry in Augusta Ga.
I'll hope to visit again but was more than pleased to find out from Pastor Chris that I can hear the message on line!
Blessings on the work God is doing in this church and I do believe they can be at 2000 in attendance in 5 more years...AMEN!
    Happy birthday Destiny Church

  • Destiny has been the church home for my wife and I for the last few years. We have found great community to worship with. There are many great churches in Jacksonville, but there is something special about this one.

I tend to be critical of church teaching, and have never found something out of place or biblically incorrect. The pastor is challenging, without being insulting while maintaining a position of humility and acceptance of others.

Like I said, there are a lot of great Churches, but I think this one is special.
