  What can I say? Going through this is never easy. But when we lost our mother they were very kind and compassionate. They even threw in some additional personal touches for the reception. During the service and the reception we found that we didn't have to worry about anything. Prior to selecting Hardage-Giddens, we met with folks at a different funeral home (was not impressed at all). As soon as we started talking with HG, we knew we found the right place for mom.

  I hate to give bad reviews, but... The owners and staff are very young, they are all mostly in their 20's. They lacked "life experience" which made them come across as very insincere and fake. Every time the head director (Ivy) would say "I'm SO sorry for your loss" she sounded like she rehearsed that line in the mirror. Additionally they try to sell you their "packages" which are very expensive and they definitely play on your emotions during a time of grief and weakness.
